E-NEWSLETTER: MID-TERM, SUMMER TERM 2020/2021

Hello everyone,

We have come to the end of the first half of the term, and I hope that restrictions lift and things return to normal. The Mid-term examinations have just been concluded, and the results will be published on the school portal by Wednesday, the 9th of June, 2021. As we vacate for the holidays, we would like to share some of our activities from the first half of the term.

Photos from our Model United Nations Conference 2021

International Boy Child Day:  The International Boy Child Day was on the 16th of May, and it was dedicated to our boys and their wellbeing. We had several speakers with colourful educative and insightful slideshows teaching our boys about things they need in order to be happy, healthy and valued leaders in the society.

Sports:  We hope for fewer COVID-19 restrictions, to enable a return of our swimming pool, volleyball and football activities.

CISS Mentorship Programme:

The CEDEC International Secondary School Mentorship Programme is designed to build confidence and support in the mentee so they are able to take control of their own development, growth and work. Each student was assigned a mentor from our team of carefully selected and trained mentors, and we know this programme will yield beneficial results in our students.

International Awards/Recognition:

Congratulations to Emmanuel for receiving a 2021 COBIS Student Achievement Awards for his Outstanding Effort for the academic year.

Examination Preparatory Classes:

Our Examination Preparatory classes will continue till the given dates. We look forward to having the respective students in school.

In the meantime, please ensure our children complete their assignments/projects on the portal over the holidays.

Finally, I urge you to remember our theme for the Summer Term which is “Success is a Team Effort”, as we work together to ensure the success of our children in the forthcoming promotional examinations.

Thank you, and I wish you a happy Mid-term holiday.
