If you are reading this, my guess is
you’ve probably heard about the term “Blended Learning”. It is a style of
education where learners learn via electronic and online media as well as
traditional face-to-face teaching. Sounds interesting, right?
Well, I’m here to tell you 5 cool things about the online part of our Blended Learning that you do not want to miss.
Efficient Personalised learning: Our online classrooms provide live virtual lessons, multimedia content, interactive content, study materials for the learners study time, subject monitoring, assignment/tasks evaluation and analysis, for effective personalised learning.
Effective Distribution of Subject
Materials: Our students can receive
their class materials on their individual pages wherever they are in the world.
They have access to their learning objectives, projects, resources and
activities, which means that our international students can actively
participate in their learning with the supervision of our trained educators.
Assessment Diversity: Our assessments take place in both the
physical and virtual classrooms, and in different formats too. Quizzes,
research, multiple choice questions, etc help our educators provide immediate
feedback. Our students are also assessed based on uploaded audio and video content
to make sure that all forms of learners are properly catered to.
Parental Involvement: All parents can access their children’s calendars,
timetables, attendance and assessment results in real time. This creates a
better opportunity for our parents to bond with their children over school
work. In addition, parents and teachers can communicate confidentially and
effectively. This is especially helpful in correcting students’ learning errors
before the termly examinations.
Transitioning to Remote Learning: In the event of a learning interruption due to
national or global circumstances (like the pandemic), CEDEC International
Schools is well equipped to transition to remote learning. This, we have demonstrated
during the lockdown, as our students did not lose any learning time, and were
actively involved in their learning during this time.
So there you go. If you didn’t know
this prior to reading this post, you’re welcome.
Very good
