SPRING TERM 2022 VACATION E-NEWSLETTER

We have all made it to the end of what has been a very eventful term and I think we are all ready for a well-earned rest. A big thank you to you for supporting your child(ren) in school in such a positive way. The staff and I have really enjoyed these past few weeks and seeing the school full of activities. It has been such a positive experience and fills us with hope for the summer term. I am beyond grateful for your assistance and support at the just concluded Model United Nations (MUN) Conference, it was an educative and enlightening event. We vacate for the term today, 8th April, 2022, and we will resume for the Summer Term on the 25th of April, 2022. In the meantime, there are a few other items I need to bring to your attention, and these are listed below.

Competitions:        We commend all our children who participated and won certificates and medals in the competitions (in-school and international). Some of the competitions include the APEN Coding, COBIS Coding, COBIS Pobble Poetry, Mangahigh Mathematics, World Poetry Day, COBIS Eco Film Awards and the COBIS Arts Festival competitions.

School Uniform:  At CEDEC International School, we believe that wearing the appropriate school uniform enables children identify with the school and their schoolmates and helps reinforce a positive spirit towards their work. We hope you appreciate the many advantages of our uniform policy at school. Please ensure that our children are dressed in the appropriate uniform every school day, as this is a part of our “School Pride”.

School Meals     Just a reminder that if you want your child/ward to enjoy a hot school lunch from the 1st week of the Summer term then these need to be paid for before school resumes for the next term.
