SUMMER MID-TERM NEWSLETTER 2022

It has been a wholesome feeling having our children with us in the first half of the summer term themed Make a Positive Difference. We have had a fantastic and fun-filled first half. This term is our promotional term and thus has fewer competitions and events than previous terms. However, we applaud our children that have participated in events and competitions so far. The Mid-term examinations have been concluded today, and the results will be published on the school portal by Friday, the 17th of June, 2022. We vacate today for the Mid-Term break to resume on Tuesday, 14th June, 2022. Here is a sneak peek into what we have been up to all term.

PARENTS' FORUM 2022

The 3rd Edition of our annual Parents’ Forum was a hit.

Our keynote speaker was Dr. Obiageli Modebelu, a senior lecture and the second speaker was an Associate Professor Perpetua Ememe, from the University of Unilag.

World Tea Day - 21st May

International Tea Day was marked in our school on the 23rd of May. On this day, we had conversations with our children in their different schools about the importance of tea as the world’s most consumed drink, after water.

Do you know that Tea production and processing constitutes a main source of livelihoods for millions of families in developing countries and is the main means of subsistence for millions of poor families, who live in a number of least developed countries?
