In honour of the World Students’ Day, our CEDEC
International Secondary School Students Council held a Students’ Day Event.
This day was an opportunity for our students to demonstrate their teamwork, organisation
and planning skills, as all aspects of the programme were planned by the
students. This includes the speakers, the host – Miss Abigail, the breakout
session and even the icebreakers.

Our volunteer students demonstrated their social
responsibility by giving Gender Based Health Talks on campus. Miss Jennifer and
the Head Boy -Master Richard spoke to the girls and boys respectively. It was a
fun time to learn about personal hygiene, and listen to the challenges their
peers faced, and offer solutions with the guidance of school staff.

Speakers of the day were Master
Elvis and Miss Hannah who spoke on Courage and Emotional Intelligence
respectively. Their presentations complete with slide shows were charged with
fun and educational anecdotes that children can learn from and relate to.

To end the programme, our students
