SPRING TERM 2020/2021 (LEKKI CAMPUS)

 We have had an eventful first half of the spring term which is themed Learn Achieve Explore! We are positive that our children have lived this theme in the first few weeks. Here are snippets of this term.

 EXAMINATION AND ASSESSMENTS:     

Our students have been assessed based on all we have taught them this term. The results will be published on the school portal later in the week.

Science Week:       The Science Week was a blast, with children winning awards and certificates. Each school had a STEM Person of The Week, and Havilah Aaron won the Science Week Poster Challenge. More information about the STEM Week can be found here

International Day of Women and Girls in Science

World Cancer Day: 

Our World Cancer Day Awareness programme was awesome. Our children learnt about Cancer, healthy habits, and made Solidarity Bracelets. For more on how we marked this date, please click here.

COBIS Mangahigh Mathematics Competition:   We participated in the COBIS & Mangahigh Maths Challenge, which is an online Mathematics competition for students. Our Secondary School students were engaged with Mathematics online, competing with each other, and students around the globe. Our top 5 students at  are:

Mid-Term Projects:    

  

Our pupils and students have been given physical and virtual  assignments and projects. Please ensure they do their assignments and offer them the necessary assistance or guidance in gathering materials for these projects.

Holiday Classes:    

Our External Examination Classes (years 9 and 12) have commenced their Examination Preparatory classes. These classes are mandatory and will continue over the mid-term break.

Social Media: As a school, we like to highlight outstanding children and their achievements on our blog and social media pages. However, we are aware that some parents may be skeptical about this. 

Therefore, if you would like your child exempted from our virtual media pages, we urge you to pick up our Social Media Exemption Form from the school office. Be sure to follow us on Instagram and Facebook, @CEDECInternationalSchoolsLekki on both platforms.
