COVID-19 Update: What's Going On?

Hello,

Here is a COVID-19 update from our school community.

The wearing of masks in the school community is now optional. This is in a bid to restore normalcy to our children, and the school community at large. However, to ensure that the school community remains safe, we have taken these measures:

·      Over 80% of our staff body is vaccinated against COVID-19, while the others will continue to observe appropriate protocol until they receive their vaccination.

·      Our temperature checks and physical inspection upon entry into the school gate or school bus is mandatory, as they will help us detect symptoms of communicable illnesses.

·      Please keep children who are sick or showing communicable symptoms at home. They will receive their schoolwork via the school portal.

·      We will continue to maintain routine hand washing and sanitizing to prevent the transfer of germs.

·      If a child in the classroom shows signs of a respiratory illness like cough, catarrh, etc, he or she will be given a facemask for the rest of the day, and a letter given to the parents upon pick up.

Thank you for partnering with us to keep our school community safe. For more information, please read our Infectious Diseases Policy.
